For my PhD, I studied learning and memory at the network-level in invertebrates at the University of Sussex, where I stayed for my first postdoc with Professor Kevin Staras, studying synaptic vesicles organisation in hippocampus. I spent the following year in Marseille, in Dr Dominique Debanne's lab on a FRM fellowship. Currently, I use a combination of electrophysiology, light and electron microscopy to study neuronal communication at the University of Leicester.
